The Structure and Safety of Mobile Scaffolding Tower Time:2023-03-28

It is undoubtedly of utmost importance to choose a stable structure scaffolding system for job sites. Mobile scaffolding, also named rolling scaffolding towers, has become an indispensable auxiliary tool for construction projects. Rolling scaffolding towers are a type of supported scaffolding set on wheels or casters. They are designed to be easily moved and are commonly used in the construction of buildings, halls, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, etc., and used for things like painting, installation, plastering, or other works where workers must frequently change positions. Movable scaffolds can often be a safer and more convenient choice than ladders. So what are the main structures and the safety performance of this type of scaffolding? Here, ADTO will introduce it to you:

The stable performance of the mobile tower scaffolding structure is: the inner and outer sides of the gate frame are cross-supported, and the size matches the distance between the gate frames and is secured with the gate frame posts. Secure your scaffold tower to a surrounding wall for added safety provision with scaffold tower ties. For the setting of the wall ties of the mobile scaffolding, when the frame height is below 45m, the vertical is ≤6m and one is set every two layers, and the horizontal is ≤8m; when the frame height is 45~60m, the vertical is ≤4m (one is set each layer), the horizontal is ≤6m, and it should follow the regulations. The setting of the wall ties should be carried out in accordance with the specified spacing along with the erection of the scaffolding. The wall ties are rigidly used, and their bearing capacity is not less than 10kN. It is set close to the transverse beam of the door frame, and wall ties are added at the corners of the scaffolding. In terms of frame protection, the mobile scaffolding is set with two guardrails and toeboards on the outer side of the construction layer according to the requirements of edge protection, to prevent the workers and materials from falling. On the outer side of the scaffolding, a qualified safety net is set, and the net is tied to the scaffolding post every 45cm.
